Antibodies detection of Rubella virus was performed with sera from 75 pregnant women in Korea to understand its epidemiological pattern. Serologic methods used for this purpose were Hemagglutination Inhibition test(HI test) and Single Radial Hemolysis test(SRH test), simultaneously for each serum. A very high rate of positivity was disclosed as 76% by HI test and 78% by SRH test respectively in this population group. One hundred and fifty-sex sera from general population which were obtainable at Virology Lab, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, U.K . during the period from january to june, 1979 were studied with Complement fixation test and indirect Immunofluorescence test in order to understand epidemiologic pattern of Herpes simplex virus antibodies. An increasing tendency of Herpes simplex virus antibodies with age was observed by both methods in very similar pattern.

Vitamin B12 is required during growth of Lactobacillus leichmanii. At a concentration allicin stimulated the action of vitamin B12 and also had the same effect on DNA synthesis by isotope experiment.

The content of Vitamin B12 in various sea products common in Korea were evaluated by microbiological assay method using Lactobacilli leichmannii. The results and discussion are presented.
